Our State Policy Council brings together Housing Oregon Voting Members to discuss the statewide issues and policies that impact the affordable housing industry in Oregon. Members on the Council help develop advocacy positions, provide input on Housing Oregon policy agendas, and foster relationships with partners. Members include experts in housing and community development and services across the housing continuum, from homelessness to rental housing to homeownership.

Key activities include:

  • Regular meetings with Oregon Housing and Community Services state agency.
  • Advocating for housing resources and policy at the state level on behalf of our members, and as part of statewide coalitions.
  • Weighing in on policy processes at the state level like the OHCS Statewide Housing Plan, currently in development.
