Oregon Housing & Community Services began re-accepting applications for the Affordable Housing Revolving Land Acquisition Program (LAP) on April 1, 2022.

In alignment with the LAP Manual, Section 1.B.2 Use Targeted Funds, effective October 3, 2022, all unallocated funds remaining in the Homeownership Set Aside and Affordable Rental Housing Set Aside will be pooled and made available to any eligible organization to use for either Homeownership or Affordable Rental Housing land acquisitions in the relevant location-based or culturally specific set-aside.

Organizations eligible to apply for LAP are:

  • Local governments
  • Local housing authorities
  • Nonprofit community or neighborhood-based organizations
  • Federally recognized Tribal Nations in Oregon
  • Regional or statewide nonprofit housing assistance agencies
