Afton Walsh grew up in the construction industry. She has a passion and commitment to inclusion and diversity having witnessed the positive transformations it has provided for many women and people of color through the years. She has naturally gravitated towards Walsh Construction’s historic commitment to outreach and inclusion and is deepening WALSH’s community and business relationships to create and foster new opportunities. Afton understands job-site dynamics and the tasks required to successfully complete various scopes of work, she is also trained in anti-bias and micro-aggression avoidance, and committed to subcontractor success. She brings this extensive construction knowledge to mentoring subcontractors and collaborates with the design-build team to identify and generate successful bid opportunities.
