Christian Edelblute,
Executive Director West Valley Housing Authority
As Executive Director at the West Valley Housing Authority, Christian Edelblute has enhanced the trajectory of the WVHA’s long-term portfolio management strategy. Under his leadership, the WVHA is focused on repositioning its aging public housing assets with RAD, LIHTC, and other funding programs to preserve properties as much-needed affordable housing in Polk County. This recapitalization effort will both fund immediate renovation of properties and create fee and cash flow to fund future rehabilitations, acquisitions and development. Mr. Edelblute’s initiative has helped drive the WVHA to devise creative strategies that help bring in federal, state, and private investments to improve its housing portfolio and to ensure that it can continue operating successfully.
