What Tracks: Housing Development, Affordable Housing
Session Description: This two-session interactive workshop will engage participants to identify solutions that increase and improve Portland Metro affordable housing development opportunities and recommend solutions and strategies for Housing Oregon members and industry partners to support.
In the first session participants will identify barriers, challenges and opportunities to rural housing development, develop criteria to select the most critical issues, review pre-conference survey results, and begin to prioritize potential issues.
In the second session participants will select top tier issues for Housing Oregon to pursue solutions, complete in-depth analysis, and develop and recommend solutions and strategies to address the issues.
The recommendations will be presented after the conference to Housing Oregon’s leadership for inclusion in the annual agenda.
