Community Manager Overview:
We are seeking a full-time, exempt Community Manager, to lead a community of residents and staff in one of our student-centered apartment buildings. This crucial role assures a supportive environment for our residents/students while overseeing efficient and fiscally responsible operations of the community.
Location: Downtown Portland, Oregon
Community Manager Duties:
- Providing leadership, direction, and support to the teams at the community
- Responsible for positive student engagement and services throughout the life cycle of tenancy
- Manages and directs day-to-day leasing operations and related accounting
- Proactively develops and implements new practices and trainings to support a culture of growth

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes, skills, and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or commensurate experience
- 3-5 years of property management, student housing, or related experience
- 3 or more years of supervisory experience
- Working knowledge of Fair Housing, Equal Housing Opportunity, and Oregon Landlord-Tenant law
- Great time management
- Collaborative nature
- Strong communication skills
