Scholarships


Housing Oregon has a limited number of scholarships available to staff or volunteers of member organizations to attend the conference. Scholarships can be used to cover the cost of registration, lodging and travel. Thanks to financial support from Meyer Memorial Trust for supporting participation of individuals from rural communities and communities of color. Yes, payment by check is available. Send a check to Housing Oregon, PO Box 8427, Portland, OR 97207. Please be sure to note participant name on the check.

Our menu options for the conference luncheon include:
• Chipolte BBQ chicken, served with pineapple salsa, roasted Yukon potatoes and roasted asparagus, or,
• Vegetarian and vegan – Mezze bowl with quinoa tabbouleh, pickled cucumbers, roasted brussels sprouts and peppers, cherry tomatoes, hummus and warm pita.

Dress code is Portland business casual. We recommend dressing in layers as room temperatures can fluctuate.

The Hilton Portland Downtown, at 921 SW 6th Ave, is easily accessible by car, bike and public transportation. It is on the downtown transit mall with nearby Max stops for the red, green, blue and orange lines. Nearest parking for an hourly fee is Fifth Taylor Garage at the Duniway Hotel, 525 SW Taylor St. or Smart Park Garage at SW 4th and Yamhill (818 SW 4th Ave), or Fox Tower at 775 SW Taylor St. Hilton valet parking is located at their SW 6th Ave. entrance near SW Salmon St. corner. There is also metered street parking available.
