The VHA is seeking Development Project Manager to prepare and present detailed reports, contracts, financial information, funding applications, and coordinates related third party professional service providers for architectural, environmental, construction,  legal, appraisal, market study, and project financing services with project leader and construction  department.

What you’ll do

  • Administers project funding activities. Includes preparation of funding applications, and ensuring compliance with funding programs, policies, rules, and regulations. May include tax credits, tax exempt bonds, and federal and state loans and grants.
  • Conducts and/or coordinates due diligence of potential acquisition sites including environmental evaluation, soil reports, surveys, utility infrastructure, and other related materials.
  • Assist with the preparation and coordinates financial models related to existing and proposed real estate developments and existing major development renovations.
  • Coordinates planning, zoning, environmental, and related planning and permit approvals. Evaluates project impact on neighborhoods and services. Develops and monitors project schedules, progress, and timelines.
  • Analyzes legal documents including contracts for financial obligations, real estate transactions, partnership agreements, loan documents, regulatory agreements, and professional consulting services.  Ensures VHA and service providers are in compliance with contractual obligations, trust indentures, and regulatory agreements.
  • Assist with the preparation of project budgets and operating pro formas.
  • Produces completions reports to funders and investors. Consistently complies with position and department safety and attendance standards.
  • Establishes and maintains positive, productive relationships with employees, clients, public officials, vendors, and other work related contacts.
