The Eugene-Springfield HOME Consortium’s 2023 Affordable Housing Request for Proposals is now open, to offer federal HOME Investment Partnership Program funds for creation of Affordable Housing. The Cities of Eugene and Springfield are seeking proposals for rental housing developments affordable to people with limited incomes. Applications may be submitted for new construction proposals, and/or acquisition of existing residential or non-residential structures to be converted to affordable housing, prioritizing proposals that create or add units. The documents required for submission (the RFP, the application, the proforma, and a reference document) are available online at our website: https://www.eugene-or.gov/ homeprogram.
Applicants are asked to submit a letter of intent to apply by Wednesday September 27, 2023 with a description of the site and development proposal. This will help the Consortium to plan for the evaluation of proposals. Please contact staff to discuss your project and potential uses of available resources as soon as possible.
A notice regarding the RFP will also be placed in The Register-Guard. Please share with anyone who is interested, and let me know if you have any questions! Thank you!
