The Request for Applications (RFA) #7344 is now posted on the OHCS Procurement Opportunities website. This RFA makes available financial assistance to cover some of the costs of facilitating access to homeownership programs by people with limited English proficiency or special communication needs due to a disability. It also aids with the costs of conducting community and culturally specific outreach.

This funding is the result of the recommendations by the Oregon Joint Task Force for Addressing Racial Disparities in Homeownership and the advocacy and thoughtful collaboration of many of you and the communities you serve.

Please look at the RFA materials on our website and consider how your organization may utilize this opportunity to enhance the visibility and access of its homeownership services for these community members. We have worked to create a simple application and reporting process to highlight the progress and learning of grantees during the implementation of the funds.

We will host an optional pre-application conference from 3 to 4 p.m. Dec. 28 to answer your questions about the RFA. Please see the pre-application conference contact information below. If you need an accommodation or alternate format to participate in the conference or to access this information, do not hesitate to contact Procurement Specialist Lisa Cimino at OHCS.Contracts@hcs.oregon.gov.

Thanks for your attention and collaboration. We look forward to hearing from you and please continue to check the OHCS Procurement website for this and other RFA updates.
