Your New Role – Housing Policy Analyst!
The primary purpose of this position is to provide high quality public policy analysis to advance the Governor’s housing and homelessness policy agenda, as directed by the Housing and Homelessness Initiative Director.

Minimum Qualifications Required:
- Seven years of executive-level policy development or foundational experience directly related to the position being recruited
OR
- Equivalent education and experience
Requested Attributes:
- Advanced education or extensive work experience in housing policy and/or housing administration.
- Ability to monitor and evaluate the impact of policy proposals (including legislative and regulatory changes), on the Governor’s housing and homelessness policy goals.
- Ability to conduct policy research on federal or state legislation or regulations to develop new policy ideas and program recommendations to advance the Governor’s housing and homelessness policy goals.
- Ability to contribute to or lead the development of on reports, memos, and other products, including analysis of housing budget and policy proposals, that translate complex policies and analyses into digestible information for different audiences.
- Ability to facilitate policy and budget concept development with stakeholders as needed to advance the Governor’s agenda.
- Ability to manage conflict, lead dispute resolution and foster collaboration among diverse groups and individuals over housing policy issues.
