Job Description: Housing Program Manager
Reports to: Director of Housing
FLSA Status: Exempt Salary Range: $67,500-$80,000, DOE

You are looking to lead our new housing counseling department and collaborate with our development team on ideas how to solve getting new homeowners into houses in Washington County. You are creative, open, hard-working, collaborative and a leader who is willing to pitch in when needed. You are also looking forward to bringing new partners and partnerships to our small but mighty agency.

Position Summary: The Housing Program Manager is part of a housing team at Bienestar that includes the Director of Housing, Asset Manager and the Executive Director, other staff members, as well as volunteers and board members on the Housing Advisory Committee. The housing team works to sustain Bienestar’s portfolio of 508 affordable homes in 12 properties, ensuring their long-term physical and financial sustainability. The housing team also explores new development opportunities and works creatively with numerous partners and stakeholders to build new housing and further Bienestar’s mission. As a community-based CDC, Bienestar must cultivate and leverage relationships and partnerships in order to be successful. The Housing Program Manager shares responsibility for the management and growth of a housing counseling program that includes pre-purchase counseling, foreclosure prevention counseling and rental/eviction prevention counseling. The position reports to the Director of Housing.
