WE’RE OFFERING A $500 SIGN-ON BONUS!

We are seeking to hire a Maintenance Technician for Spencer House Apartments in Beaverton, OR. This is an affordable property with 48 units. We are looking to add a motivated self-starter to our team who is thorough, experienced, organized, and enjoys building a positive environment for residents and co-workers.

Workdays: This is a full time, 30-hour per week position. Scheduled on call hours are required for this position.

Hourly Rate: $23.00 to $24.00 per hour (DOE).

Additional Compensation: You will also receive mileage reimbursement for required trainings and a cell phone stipend.

Responsibilities for the Maintenance Technician:

  • Review punch list and complete items in a timely manner or as instructed.
  • Participate in meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Complete all resident maintenance/repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Utilize a P.O. system for purchases.
  • Accompany all necessary building inspections and walk throughs for owners, Management staff, brokers, appraisers and other interested parties.
  • Maintain and monitor interior and exterior common area cleanliness including but not limited to: snow and ice removal, landscaping, litter patrol, laundry rooms, parking lots, garbage areas, etc.

Requirements

 Qualifications for the Maintenance Technician

  • Knowledgeable in all aspects including apartment maintenance, turnover work, repairs including electrical and plumbing, and painting.
  • Must work with residents in a professional manner
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Able to work with little supervision
  • Have valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, and state minimum insurance.
  • Have a basic set of hand and electric tools
