Oregon Housing and Community Services (OHCS) has issued a Request for Applications (RFA) #7384 to support its Manufactured Dwelling Replacement Program (Program). Funding for the Program comes from General Funds appropriated in the 2022 Legislative Session under House Bill 5202, Section 355, for distribution to homeownership centers or organizations (as that term is defined in ORS 458.610(6)) that both sponsor and manage homeownership programs for households with incomes at or below area median income. Homeownership programs must be tailored to relate to manufactured housing to qualify for this RFA.
Grant funding is available to provide the following: manufactured home replacement education and counseling, financial literacy education and counseling, and post-purchase – including default – counseling to assist in securing the future of Oregonians by helping to create and sustain stable households.
OHCS anticipates the award of one Grant Agreement (Grant) from this RFA that will provide up to $250,000 for eligible expenses incurred during the Grant period. The Grant will terminate no later than June 30, 2023. OHCS may, in its sole discretion, reimburse the successful applicant for eligible expenses incurred between April 4, 2022, and the Notice of Intent to Award.
