Oregon Housing and Community Services (“OHCS”) has issued a Request for Proposals (“RFP”) #7255 to support its Mortgage Lien Release Services Program (“Program”). Funding for the Program comes from pass-through funds appropriated by homeowners for distribution to professional contractors that assist with the recording and release of Satisfaction of Mortgages with county records offices.

 

Funding is available to provide the following: delivering mortgage lien releases, mortgage releases, partial mortgage releases, and subordination of mortgage documents in a timely manner, as well as additional work due to an influx of Satisfaction of Mortgage documents each January.

 

OHCS anticipates the award of one Services Contract (“Contract”) from this RFP that will provide up to $650,000 for eligible expenses incurred during the Contract period. The Contract will terminate no later than Dec. 31, 2038.
