JOB DETAILS AND QUALIFICATIONS

The Housing Authority of Clackamas County (HACC) is recruiting Occupancy Specialists to join our team as pivotal team members in ensuring housing stability for our homeless, disabled, and low-income clients in Clackamas County.

This position performs technical work involving coordinating, implementing, and monitoring rental assistance and subsidized housing funded with various resources, including federal, state, and local funds. These roles demand adeptness in communicating with tenants, landlords, and social services agencies. As an Occupancy Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing program eligibility, determining rent calculations, and reviewing and approving leases and contracts.

They are looking for candidates who can provide strong customer service, are adaptable to changes, manage a varied workload, effective time management skills, and understand the importance of providing trauma-informed care services to our clients. An ideal candidate will be able to effectively manage a large and varied caseload of clients and responsibilities and show a commitment to public service. They will also be problem solvers who utilize critical thinking skills when faced with challenging scenarios presented by prospective program participants, community partners, or inter-agency partners.
