The Opportunity Starts at Home campaign is supporting a new bi-partisan federal bill that would dramatically increase the number of housing vouchers for families with low income and young children by 500,000. The campaign is led by the National Low Income Housing Coalition together with the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, Children’s Health Watch, and the National Alliance to End Homelessness. The Family Stability and Opportunity Vouchers Act was recently introduced by Senators Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) and Todd Young (R-IN).
