Home Forward is seeking a Rent Assistance Program Analyst for the Project Based Voucher (PBV) team. This position supports Home Forward’s strategic and operational objectives in the following ways:
Perform a variety of responsible support and administrative duties in the provision of county-wide short-term rent assistance services to individuals and families that are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless; Determine initial and ongoing participant eligibility for assigned program(s); Monitor grant expenditures and provide technical support to partner agencies; Process and review program participant applications and related correspondence; Provide information and assistance to Home Forward clients and the general public regarding program policies and procedures; Monitor conformance with program budget and other grantor requirements; Gather and track data on costs for program activities; And to develop related narrative and statistical program performance reports.
In this context, the incumbent in this position will collaborate with others at all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders in the consideration of significant goals, concepts, initiatives, and other activities that profoundly affect Home Forward, its employees, and the people that it serves.

Education and Exerience Guidelines:
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
Education:
Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in sociology, social work, public administration or a related field. Alternative education and experience qualifications welcome.
Experience:
Five years of increasingly responsible experience working in direct client services in a social services or government setting with the elderly, disadvantaged families or mentally or physically disabled populations with two years experience in program planning and implementation. Alternative education and experience qualifications welcome.
License or Certificate:
Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid driver’s license.
