The Property Resident Services Coordinator provides support to a diverse group of residents, mainly family, seniors and youth, living in affordable housing sites. The position requires a motivated and resourceful individual who is sensitive to resident needs; has excellent service coordination and group facilitation skills; can thrive in a relatively independent environment working with a multidisciplinary team of services providers. The RSC performs a variety of duties involved in developing and implementing resident service programs at each of the communities.

The RSC tracks and measures program participation and reports outcomes regularly. The RSC will also continually evaluate all programs and recommend program improvements.

The position requires excellent written, oral and public communication skills. Must be able to create Excel spreadsheets to accurately track data and report outcomes of various programs.

This position will include on site management of a family transitional housing facility. Housing will include 1 bedroom, 1 bath, and living space and will share kitchen facilities with the families.

The goal of RSC is to promote thriving, vibrant communities while at the same time meet the requirements of each properties funding sources. This position is primarily responsible for implementing, monitoring and reporting on these programs.


1. Work and consult with residents, property managers, and management to ensure understanding of the needs of residents and facilitate delivery of an array of services responsive to those needs.
2. Implement programs that promote a healthy community among residents through youth programs, family sustainability, safety and security, and personal asset building activities.
3. Establish linkages with agencies and service providers in the community who will provide direct services to residents.
4. Educate staff and property management team about the needs of and services available for residents.
5. Work collaboratively with service providers to ensure that program outcome measures are met.
6. Plan National Night Out and Neighborhood Watch Programs.
7. Assist in grant applications.
8. Maintain monthly contact with all on-site managers to coordinate activities.
9. Maintain accurate, timely and detailed documentation on all services provided.
10. Create a monthly calendar of events and activities.
11. Conduct surveys to assess resident needs, tabulate survey results to evaluate the program and plan relevant services for the community.
12. Prepare annual OHCS Resident Service Reports, grant reports and activity budgets
13. Research funding opportunities.
14. Develop an on-going cooperative network of government, social service, and non-profit agencies.
15. Serves as an advocate and liaison for residents with service agencies and/or property management if necessary.
16. Develop and maintain a Resource Directory for Residents of each community.
17. Perform other related duties as assigned.
