We all know that housing stability is a key factor in a person’s health and well-being — and countless studies have demonstrated that addressing housing stability can help lower health care costs. Health systems are making investments and supporting innovations that seek to address Oregon’s affordable housing crisis. Over the next five years, Coordinated Care Organizations will be required to increase their investments in strategies to address social determinants of health, including housing. Join us at this session to hear from a panel of health care leaders and government partners who will discuss the latest initiatives and ideas for health/housing collaboration, followed by facilitated discussion and audience Q&A. This session will focus on specific examples of partnerships, solutions to cross-sector challenges, as well as emerging opportunities.
