Description
The Senior Policy Manager position supports Home Forward’s strategic and operational objectives in the following way: responsible for facilitating the implementation of major policy initiatives in a way that centers the voices and expertise of the people Home Forward serves and Home Forward staff. This position will facilitate implementation of major policy changes intended to advance racial equity and promote housing stability including but not limited to:
- Policies that reduce barriers to accessing Home Forward programs (eligibility criteria);
- Policies that promote housing stability for Home Forward residents and participants (eviction prevention, lease enforcement, etc.); and
- Other internal policy initiatives.
The individual in this position will collaborate with key stakeholders, including Home Forward residents, participants, and staff across Home Forward departments to successfully advise on and implement internal policy changes. This position will also support policy analysis and evaluation as needed.
