Erica Calderon, Director of Housing Development – Bienestar Inc

Erica Calderon, Director of Housing at Bienestar, is a stalwart advocate for ensuring Bienestar’s housing development projects genuinely lead with racial equity in the development and contracting of housing projects. She leads her project advisory committees with her staff and external stakeholders ensuring that the needs of the community and current residents are heard and incorporated into projects such as Plaza Los Amigos. Erica also worked with several BIPOC trade organizations to ensure that the DMWESB goals were met or exceeded. She is an absolute pleasure to work with and brings equity to bear in the development of integral housing for the Latinx community.
