Troy Ford, Central City Concern
Troy found his path to overcoming addiction to drugs through Central City Concern’s HRR Program graduating from the program in 2010 and completed his substance abuse treatment through Volunteers of America. His completed a job training program and secured his first job with Clean and Safe through CCC’s Employment Access Center. He has been in a full-time position at the Shoreline Building since 2011 and is celebrating 13 years free from active addiction and incarceration. “Because of my empathy and ability to relate to those coming out of the judicial system and being able to be an example,” says Troy. “I love to connect with the clients and have day to day communication.”
