Description:
The goal of this session is to showcase, through real examples, how pairing LIHTC with numerous other community development financing strategies can help lift an entire community through more than just housing developments. Attendees will hear from REACH Community Development and their efforts with Historic Tax Credits, LIHTC and their ability to “twin” or combine credits and other strategies to help facilitate development. Included in this, the panel will discuss 4% deals that include new soft financing options available in Oregon. Through this discussion, attendees will hopefully identify new options in assembling deals for both housing and for larger community development efforts by combining credits and other sources for the capital stack.
